Controls & fighting styles

Left click to punch, F to block and Q to dash. Learn those three inputs before testing your equipped style’s skills.

PC controls

Input	Action	When to use it
`LMB`	Punch	Test your basic attack at close range.
`F`	Block	Try it before a hit lands.
`Q`	Dash	Reposition when a rival closes in.
`Ctrl`	Shift lock	Toggle the camera mode when tracking a target.
`R` `Z` `X`	Style skills	Test each input separately with your equipped style.

On mobile or console, match these action names to the on-screen prompts for your device.

Practice one exchange

Try a basic punch. When combat is available and you’re in range, use left click and watch the attack animation.
Make room. Try F as a hit approaches. Use Q to reposition, then check how far you moved before re-engaging.
Learn one skill at a time. Test R, Z and X separately. Watch your move and the skill indicator so you can tell which input actually fired.

When an input seems dead: confirm the game is in focus, close any open menu and check the current skill indicator before repeating the input.

Should you keep your style or spin?

Decide after you’ve tested your current moves. Compare what happened when you tried to hit, defend or create space.

Keep practicing if timing is the issue

If you’re getting hit while trying to start a move, practice blocking and disengaging before judging the style.

Consider a spin if the moves don’t fit

If you can trigger the moves reliably and still want a different approach, check your Spin balance and read the current roll panel before spending.

The Halloween update introduced style pity. Check the panel for the current conditions and any confirmation before using a spin. After a roll, check the equipped style and test its skill inputs again.
